    Guineas

It looked like winner loved the ground where the second wouldn't let himself down on the ground. In a very open Derby winner can't be far away IMHO.

    Longchamp 12th May

Two very strange races. Henry no run at all and Diego ran out of time. Would be surprised if beaten horses reverse form. Looked very messy.

    Guineas

Not sure what to expect tomorrow. Cot looked superb in the filmed gallop but only the work rider knows how it felt. I hope he storms away in the final furlong and is a top winner. Nervous about the race already but I always am before the guineas. The flat starts tomorrow for me then I'm going to...

If a horse has problems like he has it very rarely results in a happy ending. I hope it doesn't mean he doesn't race again and he and state man have a great nettle next march but I'm with you Ian. I'd be very pleasently surprised if he returns to his former glories.

    Guineas

IMHO the best guineas of all time. El gran senor is hugely underrated due to his Derby defeat. Could quicken then quicken again and still going at the line. Chief singer just a machine.

    Guineas

Until you know they have trained on no point of looking at exchanges, etc. We will know on Guineas Day. The lads will only steam in on city of troy just before the off. I hope he is the real deal and excited about him but just as excited about Henry longfellow who could be top notch too. The...

    Jockey News

Ryan has had one or two too far back recently. Maybe under instructions to do so. He went through a wee bad patch over a year ago but I'm sure when it comes to the big races he will deliver. Doubt coolmore could get someone as good to replace. Maybe marquand but doubt he'd do it.

A nothing statement really. Fighting fifth it is next I would think. Now can we stop with the constant updates. Just let us know when and if he's next ready to run. Still he keeps the papers going I suppose.

    Cheltenham Take-Outs

Gaelic warrior the highlight for me. Rich thinks he could be the most talented horse he's owned but a nutter. My kind of horse. Ballyburn awesome too.

    I’m not feeling it....

Yup spoons is the answer. Go there every sporting event I go to. Booked hotel in Chester for the May meeting with the spoons 200 yards away. Same for Epsom when I go to the Derby. Seen it was 3 quid for a cup of tea or can of juice at Cheltenham. Don't think so. York was the best value but...

    Constitution Hill

Just glad the saga has ended so we can concentrate on the actual racing. Hopefully this might change a few trainers obsession with Cheltenham. Mullins has run gds in hard races and no doubt with be at punchestown. C hill legacy will be one of unfulfilled promise.

Aidan one of the greatest ever and happy to travel the globe. Makes Henderson bleatings sound pathetic.

No surprise who istabraaqs trainer was. You never know when a horse can go wrong. No wonder istabraaq is idolised in Ireland.

I can never see the point of being abusive on line. It is never going to go down well. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Just be decent about it. Always enjoy coming on here. Welcoming,as it should be. We all love racing after all.

Racing needs to realise its not that popular outside the racing bubble. None of my circle would be aware of nijinsky or galileo unless I told them. Only red rum, shergar and dessie registered with folk. Loads more youngsters into basketball, and football of course you can bet on virtually...
