It’s been a good week, but I’ll be damned if I can find anything of much interest to finish with. Particularly since I’m getting fed up with the massed ranks of Mullins specials. Lovely man, but he’s got the favourite in five of the seven races tomorrow plus several others high up in the betting. Can’t be healthy.
I think the Gold Cup took it out of Bravemansgame last year and I did wonder if he’d give it a miss this time. After a couple of lack lustre efforts he came back well in the King George and was a bit unlucky being hampered when Shiskin stumbled. He’s had a good long rest since then and I reckon 14/1 is a bit rich. Taken some ew and that’ll probably be all I do.
