I mentioned that I was going to try and be a bit more disciplined in keeping track of these. I’m not a system man, but the combination brought in some good winners last season. There’s one today:

Sea Squared 5:00 Goodwood. The 12/1 early price yesterday didn’t last long and became 6/1 and now 9/2.
 
True Legend Monday 5:35 Newcastle. Mark Prescott is a well-known exponent of this tactic so I expect price will be skinny

Won without any trouble. 2/1 early price was gone in a flash last night and finished up ev SP. I’ll record turf and AW separately.

Market called it, drifting from 8/1 to 12/1sp (18/1 at one stage). The early evens winner isn’t going to get us very far if these don’t pick up!

No :mad: . Missed it altogether (checked and no more I can see I’ve missed). Good one for the thread, though, which needed a boost and it shows you’ve got to wade through a lot of chaff for the odd grain of wheat. Thx for bringing to attention. I’ve added it to the score.

Rubbish from Star 8th/9. The market called it, though, from 7/1 overnight early price he reached 20/1 today and started at 18/1. Still, counts as another loser.
