Just heard about this earlier on Whatsapp. Another sad loss, with another original forum stalwart now taken from us. Condolences to Roger's family, friends and the forum members who knew him best.

Really don't know what to say. Col did SO MUCH for everyone after the breakup of the Ch4 racing forum. Sad, sad news. RIP Col and condolences to his family.

Honourable mentions for series I have downloaded and watched recently. Gomorra, The Looming Tower, The Terror, Condor, Counterpart, Killing Eve. Currently stuck into / yet to start Billions ( series 3 ), Power, Quantico, The Leftovers, Salvation.

Was at Newbury on Sat, and didn't see anything to put me off backing Carole's Destrier again. Once again, just jumped every fence very economically and was in process of trying to gain on the leading group when hampered by the faller 2 out. Will just keep backing e.w. from next week until...

I was all over CD for the GN after his run in this last year at 33/1. Thought he was going to claw back Native River for a split second. Anyway, I'm staying loyal on Saturday ( and actually going too ), and will be backing weekly for the GN afterwards too.

Terribly sad news. Always looked out for her runners as knew you would get a run for your money. Marello still one of my favourite horses to this day. RIP
