The 2m chase ran on the old course at the October meeting was run at a crawl but that would have suited Jazzy Matty - who probably wants slightly further than 2m nowadays - less than anything in the race so while the ratings need to be treated with caution, the conditions of that non handicap...

A group of us went to Benalmadena last year; golf in the morning and watch the racing in the afternoons and I was on the front page of the RP then. I know Grass has done it the past few years too but more Ronda direction IIRC. I really enjoyed it and despite arranging it I said No to going back...
