Just the two yesterday .
Jm Jungle wasn't drawn in the right place, given that no horse drawn higher than 14 has won the race for years. However, to be honest, he wasn't really travelling the best even from the off in my opinion.. Not to worry; he'll be one I'll keep tabs on because I think he's an improved horse and will come good. Shame he missed the Ew places by a Hd but that's racing, eh?
Military Tycoon was not there to win, I think but just to get a run into him to make sure he's in the pink for when they send him out in handicap hurdle on the soft. That's my assessment and I can only say it as I see it, right or wrong.
There's just one bet for today:
Grey Fox - Newbury 2.00 10/1 Ew
Although well beaten last time out, I thought he travelled well until the final 2f found him out. It was a good pipe-opener and he'll appreciate the step down to 1m. He was second in this race last year rated 6Lbs higher and although he looks like a Windsor specialist, I quite fancy him here for at least a place. Trainer Emma Lavelle has three winners in her last seven runners.
Elsewhere I'll have a smidgeon on two others:
Get Shirty - 7.15 Hamilton.
Kinudu Kueto - 7.30 Aintree
From tomorrow I'll be in beautiful Dorset for a few days so my Blog entries will be quite minimal. Unusual for me, I know.
