Look stronger in the novice hurdles and novice chase dept than they have in a long time, i think it will be close this year after years of Irish dominance

Thoughts?

As an Irishman I would say it is a long way out.It would be better for the game if the Brits were more competetive.

Best thing about that list ( to me) is the number of yards represented - yes three are NJH, but the others are all different. I reckon that can only be good 😊

Would never underestimate Willie Mullins. ,Nicky may well win the Champion Hurdle and the Arkle but overall my money would still be on an Irish victory overall.

History tells us to expect 3 winners at most from your list

Ireland would be long odds on. There's 24 races quoting ante post prices by oddschecker.

Irish trained horses are favourite in 18 of them.

To the question are the Brits back..........no they are not but for a few races early doors

4 of those are Nicky's Constitution Hill, Sir Gino, East India Dock and Jonbon can be backed in an accumulator but would you place a bet on it coming up,??. I know I have placed several similar ante post bets over the years and never once has any of them won.

We'll get hammered by the Irish as has been norm for the past few years. I'd be surprised if you get more than 2 to win off that list and I think Sir Gino will be a penalty kick in the Arkle.

WPM definitely has a problem; can it be fixed by March ?
If not then a lot of races are up for grabs.
A long , long time since WPM had such a bad run.
More importantly, there is a shed full of prizemoney available at DRF in 5 weeks; bound to be up to fifty less Irish runners than usual.

Will he send Lossie or State Man, or both, to the Irish Champion Hurdle?

Is that where we'll see today's winner next too?

Looks like we can add Lulamba to the list after today

6/4 for the Triumph

Just to clarify: I'm Irish when I've backed an Irish horse, British when I've backed a British horse, French when I've backed a French horse and I was German the day I bet Torquator Tasso in the Arc.

The Prestbury Cup is about as interesting to me as: The Shergar Cup, The Racing League and this jockeys's nonsense they're on about at the moment.

For Prestbury Cup/Shergar Cup/ Racing League/jockey nonsense replace with Waitrose/Tesco/Tiramisu/lobster bisque and many many more 🤪
