Just wondering if anyone follows this kind of thing and noticed patterns emerging.

Obviously those involved appear to be vehemently denying any wrongdoing but it isn't hard to see the potential for corruption.
It reminds me of the famous Charlie Munger quote: "Show me the incentive and I'll show you the outcome"

This was one of the Talking Points on Racing TV's Luck on Sunday three days ago. It's on Racing TV's YouTube channel with around three minutes of discussion between Nick Luck and Ralph Beckett starting at 15:56.
I had a look at some of the horses owned by Amphitheatre Racing ( AR ) and most of them changed ownership around the end of March. The final two races at Brighton on Saturday were divided with AR having one runner and one n/r - self-cert, not eaten up - in the seven runner 7:00, and two of the nine runners in the 7:30.
