The usual massive ante-post margin, made worse by only two firms pricing up so far, but, again as usual, that doesn't mean there isn't a possible "rick" lurking in there somewhere.

Quite a few have priced up now and imo there is a rick. Entain are going 14s about Easy Peeler whereas I've taken 33s at Powers (for very little as restriced.) I'd advise watch his run behind Maelstrom at Haydock, very eye catching and honestly Maelstrom's best price of 14s is reasonable.

I'm out all day tomorrow so have taken a bet on my selection just in case I'm right about its price being generous and the odds contracting by Saturday morning, when I'll also put up my figures and rationale if I get the chance/can be arsed...

The unfortunate sod lumbered with the penalty is Sixtygeesbaby. I've taken 18/1, 6 places. If it drifts and qualifies for the longshot there by Saturday I'll maybe go in again.

I'm not sure if I'll get the six places now that EP is out but SGB is out to 28s in a couple of places.

I'll hold off for an hour or two to see if it drifts again but I'll definitely go in again. I've never been shy about farting against thunder.

I've reinvested some of the money on a modest win bet on Fast Track Harry which I thought would be my fancy before I studied the race.

FTH did best of those drawn in single figures but I don't know if that cost him the race. I don't know if it just couldn't go the early pace but I thought it was too far back at halfway given how this track is riding. Could have been over-confidence on the rider's part.

Not sure it would have beaten the winner and not sure 60Gsbaby would have done so either. The winner is obviously on a steep curve.
