Royal Ascot competition

Hi All
TFT (formerly Marb and aka Martin) and I have been discussing a competition for next week but to be run in honour of Tanlic (Fist of Fury) who I think is possibly terrorising the bookies in the sky.

The Cheltenham one was great fun and we had a huge entry. I am currently convincing TFT that his maths cannot be any worse than mine. I would run it but I am stupid busy right now and I just really can't take anything else on. This one would be run along similar lines (unless someone wants to run a more complicated one in which case shout.)

So are any of you up for a entering an Ascot compy?

Yes, if it's okay with you Kirsty, we'll call it the Fist Of Fury Royal Ascot Cup. I'll put in a prize for the winner. I shall attempt to do the maths unless someone else of reputable standard offers to do so.

Isn't AI made for this sort of thing? Give it the rules, the entries and the results and it should spit out the results with ease.

I'm in. Still the best racing 5 days anywhere though don't think its the strongest in the last few years in terms of quality with a few exceptions.

I've got the spreadsheet, I'll post the rules for point scoring and Tuesday's selections on Monday evening.

In fact, point scoring and rules are as follows. Advised and used before by Jinny.

One selection per race and one of those is your NAP each day.

10 points for a winner
7 points for a second
5 points for a third

A winning NAP gets double the points (Winner only).

Any winner at starting price of 25/1 or over gets an extra 5 points.
