What are you backing Today? Part 2

I think Ancient Wisdom is worth a little interest in the 3.35. He's no longer favourite and I can't really have that given the opposition. He ran well in the Gordon Richards earlier in the season before a poor run in the Coronation Cup where it amazed me that he even ran given that he hated the track in last year's Derby. Very poor programming.

He's been gelded and I think a soft ground race over this distance in this company is ideal for him.


Also backing Hoscal later on in the 7.10 at Kempton. Don't like the trainer andwas not impressed with him running him over 6f in a bullshit racing league meeting last time but before that he ran well over today's trip (7) at Doncaster. 11s at 365 for four places is decent.
 
I really can't understand why Steps in the sand has drifted out to 22 /1.
The trip and going should suit and young Patrick McGettigan is a very good claimer.
Could be an expensive day today as I've gone in again.

If so, I am inclined to believe in it, despite the price drifting.

I set it up, then decided to lay Finalise and leave the rest. Last minute decision at the request of "her indoors".

Shame as Dancing with myself plus Finalise would have delivered circa 1400 profit

dropped another 1lb to 96 he went badly right at the start and was btn 3.5L 5/11.7f haydock.got dropped another 2lb.
then run in the Lennox at Goodwood which he couldnt win and basically never tried.
but it worked as he got dropped another 4lb to 90.
Last time he ran at Newcastle again in a racing league race where he finished 7/14 btn about 2L and got dropped another 2lb to 88.
