Leadman is a well handicapped horse housed in a tool's stable. And the prick still has him in the last tomorrow that I've got one in (not this for this thread, I don't want Slim's wrath) and I thought I'd be rule 4'd but the price has gone so maybe not.

All joking aside, since feeling I understand a bit more now about what Slim's about, I'm actually always gutted for him when one of these gets beat.
Everyone wants to win, Slim NEEDS to win - no one will be more annoyed than him, I suspect.

No doubt Slims always genuine with selections Ian. However it is a choice to be a pro gambler over actually just getting a job. He's obviously done alright out of it if he's survived this long and realistically he's lived the dream for a number of years doing what he loves, not many get to do that in life in general , not a lot of people have the bollocks to chase their dream or just do something they love for a living. So on the whole its something I respect greatly but truth be told it's always a choice and worst comes to worst for a pro gambler they can always revert to paying their bills the same as the rest of us working shitty jobs we hate.
The only time I ever felt bad for him was when Benie fell at the last in the Mares a few years back because that was just uncalled for. The rest of the time im just a bit envious as didnt have the balls myself when I had a chance to go to another level.
