I backed Pallas Lord and couldn’t believe the price and only just lost out at 16/1.
He's out at Newcastle again tomorrow, but everyone knows now and 4-1 is the current quote. May well win it, but I'll be looking for something bigger to take him on. There might not be anything, and if he drifts a bit it might make the bet.

I have no clue why he was that big the other day, think I got something in the high 20s on Betfair. Crazy.

He'll likely go back into pattern in a month or so...down the field most runs from spring until the next winter, then kicks off again around Jan. Might get the same in around 10/11 months. Strong battler, Donald doesn't seem inclined to send him over further, but my bet is he'd fight just as hard over 10f. Can definitely see him winning again as a 9YO.

Nice one. I always back what I post, so I too enjoyed the win along with some friends that I message privately. It was a good night as I also had Harbour Vision at 6/1
Harbour Vision is one of my tracker horses, so I received a reminder email this morning. But I receive one a week about the old rogue, and I will only back him about 50% of the time. You know the rest of the story, of course.

But well done with your bet.

Bloody hell davewatts50, I will say hello and wave goodbye to losing if you come up with bets like that regularly, funnily enough had Word of Mouth in a few EW doubles, noticed the dam was best at 1m6f. I now mainly concentrate on AW, Wolves&Southwell. Newcastle straight course so difficult to predict.
