Cheltenham Handicaps

I think The Yellow Clay is an attractive price for the Coral Cup (16/1 nrnb). On a stiff mark but Gordon has said that if he is to run in the Cup he will have a claimer on board (Hopefully M. Kenneally, more likely Josh Williamson). Could definitely see him going off single figures if he turns up.

His performances this season haven't set the world alight but people are quick to forget that he was half a length behind The New Lion in last years Turners, which is over C&D. Worth a dart in my opinion, you can always lay it off on the day.

Was absolutely smashed in for the Turners on the day from memory, just seemed lifeless ever since

Been doing some studying of the ultima. Got back as far as 1984 with the racing posts form of previous winners. Bar one outlier here, which was before my time! No horse has ever won the ultima stepping up in trip to 3m for the first time (Jagwar). This outlier here is very interesting but I was wondering if the RP is missing any data with regards to its runs? Bet in from 33/1 to win the festival handicap and then sent off fav for the GN Nto. Dos anyone know if there is any form missing?

"Coral" Cup [Wednesday]

Feet of a Dancer

Though she has a couple of Grade 1 entries I think this is the right race for the mare who was a good 4th in last years Pertemps

Each Way @ 20-1 [Non Runner No Bet] 4 places

Interesting that Nicky said he hasn't had Hyland right all season, and that he's only just begun to show something. If that's right, he performed amazingly well to finish a close up 4th in December at Ascot.
Am I getting carried away if I say he's one of the best handicapped staying chasers out there right now?
When the ground comes right I'm on.

Into 14s for the Ultima.

Ultima: Murphy reported as saying this is the target for Resplendent Grey (also in the Gold Cup) and at 25/1 NRNB, he looks an attractive bet. 4th in the NH chase before winning the Whitbread, then began the season over 20f to win the Colin Parker. Well fanced for the Hennessy next time, he dwelt in that chaotic standing start and was left well off the pace (usually likes to lie up). Ran the best rating of his career last time at Windsor behind Protektorat - trip shorter tha ideal. Looks significantly over-priced with that money-back offer.

No bet till the 48 hr decs.
One I have my eye on is, Midnight It Is, in The Grand Annual.
Stayed on strongly to be 3rd last year. 2lb lower this time around + 7lb better off with the winner Jazzy Matty. 33s + 25s available.
