    Road To The 2014 Derby

I've put £2 e/w on Kingfisher and my Dad has done the same on Western Hymn. Last of the big spenders :) Not a million miles from Epsom - in fact about 10 and it has been very wet here this morning but now clear.

    Photos from Kempton 22/2/14

Nice pics! Really like the AP one, very sharp. For tips, another good course for photography is Sandown. From the enclosure in front of the grandstand, complete uninterrupted view across!

Road To The 2014 QM Champion Chase

The more I look the more I think Wishfull Thinking has a big each way shout. Obviously loves the course. Apart from the couple of occasions he's fallen, he's run very respectably there at Festival time. In addition, his runs in the Paddy Power were under big weights and he was far from...

    Books To Recommend ?

One Day by David Nicholls. Not seen the film, but read the book when it first came out. I'm not one for romance novels and I wouldn't call it a "love story" (as it has been described). Just more as intriguing and found it a good read. Michael Crichton Jurassic Park I found a good read. A...

What was your favourite Festival race ever ?

Mister McGoldrick running away with the Racing Post Plate way back in 2008 was a great memory for me. Loved that horse and was awesome to see one so in love with the game simply out run and out jump his younger rivals. For pure class, Kauto Star's 2nd Gold Cup.

    Stupid Newbury

Maybe this will open a few eyes, it's about time it does. Have always been of the opinion, wear what you like, as long as it's not offensive to anyone else (as it shirts saying Die Whatever), or something like that. After all each to their own and my money is the same colour as a smartly...
