    NH Problems

It definitely gets quiet from mid feb onwards but at least there's always punchestown fairyhouse and aintree coming up after cheltenham...

    What A Friend

Don't think we can read too match into ruby's choice, he'd never sat on what a friend over fences so it was probably an easy one to give up considering he's going to have to try and keep both mullins and nicholls happy through the festival

    Cheltenham inspect.

Yeah that's probably the reason allright, especially disappointing as 3 of my ten to follow crew were supposed to run!

    Cheltenham inspect.

I can't believe they're not rescheduling the races, surely Boylesports will want them to go ahead somewhere? They managed to hold the Fighting Fifth the following weekend...

    Boylesports International Hurdle

Very interesting race, I'd prefer to back something at a bit of a price in this so chomba womba or solwhit e/w could be interesting. What a shame it's no longer called the Bula, surely Boyles could have included it in the title rather than the ridiculous 'International'?

    Hatton's Grace Hurdle

Well hopefully they'll find his best trip soon, seeing as he's turning 12 in January :D

    Neptunes Collonges

Quote from Nicholls earlier in the season: "He is always better after Christmas so will start off in the Lexus Chase, have one more before the Gold Cup and then go to Punchestown to try and win the Gold Cup there for the third year."

    Hatton's Grace Hurdle

Impressive run from all of the first three home imo, serious performance from brave inca. Don't think i've ever seen him travel so easily throughout a race. I don't expect him to beat sizing europe at leopardstown but if he gets close i'd fancy him to turn the form around in...

    Hatton's Grace Hurdle

Catch me looks too short for this imo, he still has a fair bit to find on official ratings and not sure it the ground is soft enough for him. Surely too short for kazal and brave inca will probably need the run so hardy could be the one to beat. Muirhead e/w might be the way to go here.

    Super Sunday

Quite like Rare Bob e/w in the Drinmore, beat trafford lad on his debut over fences (reversed by stewards) and is now 5 times the price of that one...step up to 2m4 should suit aswell

    Fairyhouse Winter Festival

What a sight it would be to see the 2 old boys go head to head again!

    Punchestown

The extra day in Punchestown has a €220k handicap hurdle (0-145) as its highlight... that prizemoney is sure to raise a few eyebrows. I've always found Punchestown (and to a lesser extent Aintree) to be brilliant days out and social occasions but not worth tuppence when it comes to form holding...

    Sublimity

    If so he's certainly succeeding!

    Glencove Marina Out

Absolute sickener...that's 2 good novices gone in 2 days after pedrobob

    Letheby And Christopher Chase

Anyone know why it's taken Neptune Collonges so long to make an appearance this year? Did he have a setback earlier in the season?

    Aig Irish Champion Hurdle

Though that means he will only have one run between the 07 and 08 Champion Hurdles...if Henrietta Knight was the trainer we'd never hear the end of his over-cautious prep. Echos of See You When anyone? (Though at least that one was usually injured)

    Aig Irish Champion Hurdle

That looks a bit more attractive allright though Sublimity is still a shocking price imo

    Aig Irish Champion Hurdle

8 declared for the race... PPower bet: 5/2 Sizing Europe, 3/1 Al Eile, 7/2 Sublimity, 4/1 Aitmatov, 9/2 Hardy Eustace, 8/1 Lounaous, 14/1 Ebazayian, 20/1 Silent Oscar... Talk about not taking any chances...nearly a 5% overround per runner!
