    York Ebor Meeting 2020

To be honest I think I may just start backing favourites in these big field prestige handicaps. So many times I look through the form trying to find some big priced outsider to run an each way blinder and the favourite hacks up. A lot of the time the chance is there for all to see but I...

    King George

Can’t take O’Brien’s word as gospel as we all know but he was saying this week that he’s got Japan spot on for today and his two previous runs were set up for today. To run like he did I’d have to assume it’s a ‘bad day’ run worth forgiving. Still couldn’t fancy him over Enable in any race though.

    2019 Grand National

Brilliant achievement but as a punting race this is the end. Just Dutch the favourites, outsiders winning this race are long gone.

    Aintree 2019

Lalor. New trainer or just not good enough anymore? That was woeful really, something must be wrong with him. Great run and ride on Ornua though.

Dan Skelton to Gordon Elliott with no form and wins easy as you like? Sometimes I think stuff the form and just think like a plot trainer for these big handicaps.

 Agree about Minella Rocco. Must be a plotted horse.

This is getting scary. My only two bets in the race lol. Hope for better luck today than yesterday. Good luck all.

Equine Retirements, Long Term Injuries and Departures

Really hope he’s retired after today. Owes nobody anything and deserves to go out in one piece and enjoy the rest of his life.

Hope Faugheen is ok and they retire him today. Deserves to go out in one piece.

    Aintree 2019

Couldn’t have bet that with stolen money, horrendous start to Aintree already.

    The Long Shot Thread

Cracking Find my other one for the race as I was up until 1:30am studying today’s card and I like the look of a Sue Smith front runner, hopefully with a few pound in hand as she’s one of the shrewdest trainers around in my opinion. Glad you’ve got good figures for CF and TFP, let’s see how they...

    The Long Shot Thread

Part of me wants a saver on it as he’s clearly kept this back for this race but it’s almost like the bookies have priced it up so short expecting a gamble on it because of the Ch’tibello Cheltenham win. Not sure if they’ll be good enough but my two against the field will be Theflyingportrait...

    2019 Grand National

He’s still basically on the bridle coming over the last fence in last years national as well, I didn’t realise his superiority at the time until revisiting it now. Russell asks him to kick on and then he nearly gets collared near the line, would that worry anyone now? Not saying he doesn’t stay...

    Cheltenham 2018/2019

On a side note, that ground at Cheltenham has to be soft/heavy?

    The Long Shot Thread

Well done winners on Ch’tibello. He’s clearly a plot trainer, no problem with that but for his brother to say ‘master trainer’ is a bit much!
