What are you backing Today? Part 2

Both horses are unable to carry the extra weight of my backing them. How can Saint Sam run so poorly? Answer: my money lol.

Well done, mate. I thought Matata would appreciate the distance, myself but he just wasn't good enough, was he?

What are you backing Today? Part 2

You do well to wonder. As for myself, I try not to worry about it. If I start to second-guess trainers, I'm in trouble. I think he's got the form to win so I'm backing it lol. Good luck to you too, mate.

    The 2025 Becher (Handicap) Chase

Yes. Cracking form for Mister Davies and what an advert for NH racing that was. Absolutely thrilling stuff. Of course, made all the sweeter when Twiggy gets his head in front on the line. Congratulations, mate.

At the moment the stable's as much use as a one-legged man at an arse-kicking party; terrible form

CI had a hard race there and well done Brogan for the all-the-way ride: so strong. I think they were on it today and it nearly came off. A lovely price for me at 28/1. Got paid on the 3rd for Kilbarry Hill so the ew trixie paid for itself and a nice place price means great fun for no expense...

    Saturday 6th December 2025

Saturday 6th December 2025 I’ve just caught my first whiff of the festive season. With the earnest but freshly-foraged Christmas wreath adorning the front door, our tiny garden tidied and resting, the cats purring into a full 18 hours a day slumbering, we ready ourselves for the longest...

    Henry VIII novices chase 2025

Having watched each of the four jumping fences, I'm with you, Dan. I'd be on either Alnilam or Be Aware to perhaps cope with the tricky fences best. That would be a cracking R/Fcst, wouldn't it?

    The 2025 Becher (Handicap) Chase

I agree on this not being any sort of betting race, I'd favour one that's tried and tested over the fences. Galia Des Liteaux is where my clumsy arrow lands, mate.

The 2025 Welsh Grand National Handicap Chase

Nice one. I'm not sure it's my desire to to be lumped in with the 'public' but, sometimes, needs must

Could see Bowensonfire with head gear and a shot at the County Hurdle but needs a break now, I think. Not sure I agree with further, Danny. That wasn't a fast race there.

Bowensonfire last at the second last but comes with a wet sail when all over. Says it all for anything I pick at the moment. 😖
