The two I remember best were the un de sceaux/Vatour ante post double (slim) and the combined number of festival winners for mullins/Elliot/hendo a couple of years ago (cant remember who put it up). Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    Cheltenham Handicap Watch

Thought he would have a right chance in the CH. Can't make up my mind whether he has been a non jigger or has some physical problem this season. Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

And in May it is too hot for them to travel to Punchestown!! extraordinary how these factors don't seem to stop Irish runners from going to the UK at xmas, Cheltenham and Aintree!! Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    TV coverage

I am Irish myself and would see myself as being in the Blackmore great, Frost overrated camp. So I am certainly not being disparaging in describing others that have that view!! Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    TV coverage

I think what pisses some (particularly Irish) people off is that Frost gets more media coverage than Blackmore, despite being a vastly inferior jockey. This is partially down to Blackmore not courting the media and letting her performances speak for themselves. So I don't have much of an issue...

Is two and a half miles a specialist championship distance?

It all depends on how it dilutes the other races. I think the JLT is more disruptive than the Ryanair for example Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    Footpad

One interesting aspect of the Mullins yard post ruby is campaigning of horses. I felt ruby often got horses to run in races which suited him, rather than what might have been best for the horse or yard as a whole. I would imagine townend will be way less influential on running plans Sent from...

    Jockey News

Interesting that Jacob is on footpad tomorrow. When Ruby was retained rider he got the Munir horses. Not the case for Townend it would appear. Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk
