    Whip Rules

To be honest I think a lot of owners would value a jockey that is willing to break the rules to maximize their chance of a winner. The "punishment" for hitting a horse too many times falls on the jockey, not the owner. Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    The 2021 Grand National

Could he turn pro in order to ride in this?? Presumably would have to renege amateur status for a while afterwards.... but he wouldn't be missing out on much/anything for the following 6 months?? Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    Road to the Stayers Hurdle

Nicholls will do whatever maximizes his chances of winning the trainers title. If and when that is in the bag, logic may prevail!!! He couldn't resist what he thought was going to be a soft touch in the Clarence house Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

The Road To The 2021 Cheltenham Gold Cup

I'd say the form of yesterdays race was pretty moderate overall. Didn't think kemboy enjoyed the ground and didn't jump as well as he can. Getting in tight alot and giving some too much air. In top form he would beat the storyteller further. Delta work jumped terrible, melon didnt jump great...

The Road To The 2021 Cheltenham Gold Cup

Generally speaking this is true. Horses have to slow down more when jumping fences, so the tempo is not as relentlessly high. So 2m on the flat requires more stamina than 2 miles over hurdles, which in turn requires more stamina than 2 miles over fences. Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    Dublin Racing Festival

What is the feeling on the form of the Elliot yard? Obviously they were awful at xmas, should we expect a big improvement from those that seemed too bad to be true last time? Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    Dublin Racing Festival

Talk of a change of tactics with melon. Likely to be ridden more conservatively, which I think might mean they don't get the advantage of his jumping. Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    Novice Chasers 2020 / 2021

On this line of thinking, there is an argument for backing him NRNB for the RSA now. If you think the only way he runs in it is if he wins or finishes very close to monkfish at the weekend. Like you I think the most likely outcome is that he is beaten at the weekend and then they go for the NH...

    Novice Chasers 2020 / 2021

Are they going to get a new sponsor for the "RSA" before it is run this year?? Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk

    Road to the Stayers Hurdle

I would say mares chase most likely, followed by mares hurdle, with the starters being the outsider of the 3. Will be interesting to see where Roksana goes. Sent from my SM-J415FN using Tapatalk
