Can’t possibly believe that you are related to someone dodgy......a fine upstanding member of the community such as yourself? Never.......😂

    Jumpers to Note 2024/25

Well if their PE is anything like the ITV one, I’d ignore! He’s only four(well technically five as of today) but he’s got a serious engine.

Sat nav for very old car…

Download Waze app onto your phone. I use that and keep it plugged into my lighter socket as I have a 20yo Saab convertible. Waze is excellent and I think better than Google Maps as Waze users update constantly so hold ups are flagged immediately. I have rashly ignored the instructions to take...

    Jumpers to Note 2024/25

A quiet one that escaped me due to my lurgy: No Drama This End - won the bumper at Warwick today. I saw him win his point to point at Badbury RIngs last year and he had the Wow factor as soon as he walked into the paddock. He won very impressively that day he (trained and ridden by Will Biddick)...

    New Year celebrations

Large gin downed, fish pie in the oven - some twat outside has been letting off fireworks already so my horses are weaving and pratting about their stables - good luck to me mucking out tomorrow morning! Happy New Years y'all - have a good and more importantly, safe one! xx

    Ante-Post Punting Plans/Propositions Thread.

Ive texted him the following: Race 1 Only three runners and one I like, Kalif du Berlais is odds on Race 2 Think Pierrot Jaguen is interesting in this Race 3 Tricky race as all have a fair chance Probably plump for either Cloudy Glen or Bowtogreatness Race 4 Big fan of Gemirande while I...

    New Year celebrations

Oh she'd know alright! I had a friend to stay and I offered him a drink - gin, wine, whiskey etc...She quickly replied - "He can't have my Peaty Craig!!" Mortifying! Its not as though I am a teenager!

    Ante-Post Punting Plans/Propositions Thread.

About to have a look through as the nephew is going and thinks his kindly aunt will supply him with winners as usual

    New Year celebrations

Rather a Hot Body to comfort me to be honest but that's not happening and out of honey sadly - plenty of whiskey but its the "good" stuff according to the mother so unlikely to be able to access it as its most likely under lock and key. The fact that my brother sends her it on demand regularly...

Road to the 2025 Champion Hurdle

I need to watch a rerun then! What channel is it likely to be on?

Road to the 2025 Champion Hurdle

I was going to say exactly the same thing. Gaelic Warrior especially flat. Yes OK he’s had some winners but to get a number of very good horses well beaten, it does raise questions.

Road to the 2025 Champion Hurdle

Damn I missed it! I knew there was a race I meant to watch but I've been laid low with the lurgy and only woke up about 20 mins ago after going back to bed at 10 having done my horses... Still she's in my good Ten to Follow list! :cheerleader:

That....was blooming good! And a beautifully judged ride by Townend too.

Road to the 2025 Champion Hurdle

Watched the WM post race interview and he said he was disappointed but felt she wasn’t herself. It’s all too easy to dismiss a horse off one poor run or one seemingly poor public gallop. Rule her out at your peril! While she may not beat a CH at his prime, one over jump, one baulking by another...

    Chepstow Today

Apparently Chepstow are refunding (well offering chance to another meeting there before March 31st) all advance tickets as well hospitality which is a nice gesture.

    Novice Chasers 24-25

I think Ballyburn much better suited to Cheltenham rather than Kempton which is a quick track and lots just don’t enjoy the relentless rhythm that it seems to require

    King George Vl chase

Backed the winner but heart went out to the French horse...thought it was about to be a superbly judged ride.
