Even though Winter Fog is 11 he still has a chance. An 11yr old Caracciola won in 2008

Manxman came second last year by a nose. He's now 9-0 compared to last year (8-2) can obviously do the distance but nobody seems interested in him ? Are you sure he won't come back and win a year older ?

You make a fair point and I can see him getting 3rd place with a decent draw (and as you say a bit of luck) and at that big price I think it's worth having small bet on him place as a fun bet :D

On the subject of Jockeys, does anyone have an opinion about JJ Slevin He now seems to be riding Simon Munir & Isaac Souede horses ( Double Green ) How do you rate him as a jockey ?

Only horse I backed today, just had a feeling & he won at 3/1 :)

Skiathos is a non runner .....looks like he will run at Redcar 13:36 on 4th Oct a couple of other interesting 2 yr old in that race as well
