    New Point To Point Forum

I'd just like to add that this is an incredible thing that Gordon does. Initially it was to boost the profile of the late Jumping for Fun forum but even with the demise of that, it has gone from strength to strength and I know the Pointing community are very grateful for this initiative. I was...

The 2025 Paddy Power Gold Cup (Handicap Chase)

As someone said to me on Sunday about the yard "every time he has a winner, a puppy dies!" I think it was rather lost in translation as nobody else laughed but I thought it was hilarious at the time.

The 2025 Paddy Power Gold Cup (Handicap Chase)

And you STILL didn't listen to me as we stood by the paddock and I said I was backing Panic Attack. In fact you even said something along the lines of "well of course you are a complete genius so perhaps I should be backing it considering your vast knowledge....." :ROFLMAO: :cheerleader:

Novice & Maiden Hurdlers 2025-2026 - Who Might Step Up?

I listened to the interview with Dan afterwards and he said he would stick to 2m as he was keen in his bumper too.

Novice & Maiden Hurdlers 2025-2026 - Who Might Step Up?

You need to put Soldier Reeves in your Maidens to follow list. That performance on Sunday was underplayed IMO. It was his first time over hurdles, he made a mistake at the third last that he was given time to recover from and he still won nicely. I thought it was a very good run.

Things have changed a lot in that time, not least that several of those on the thread do not frequent this place any more plus the wonderful Brian H aka Lord H has sadly passed into the next life. This is essentially a horse racing forum and I doubt you are going to get a hugely positive...

THAT was impressive by Kopek des Bordes. Happy in front, I thought "I wonder how much he will have left?" The others came to him and he just shook them off - very, very nice.

Just watched this - The Yellow Clay hated that ground. Watch it back and he's nodding every other stride which indicates he ain't happy.

The remaining November Meeting races at Cheltenham

I've just filled in my online survey. I do think there are improvements but I have given detailed feedback which I think is important. Atmosphere was great yesterday but it felt more like a Tuesday of the Festival, numbers wise. I always have a routine as I suspect many do, that suits me but it...

The remaining November Meeting races at Cheltenham

Well what a lovely weekend I have had!! I didn't think a lot was going to cap yesterday's sport but to have firstly Soldier Reeves win - I had backed him before I left home on Betfair and then again as the bookies at Badbury Rings were kindly giving Cheltenham prices so I had a little more on...

The remaining November Meeting races at Cheltenham

A few for tomorrow but it will be a non watching day for me unless I can sneak a look on my phone as I shall be at Badbury Rings. In the first Soldier Reeves was hugely fancied at Newton Abbot at the end of last month in the bumper and they looked furious that he got beaten (I flagged him up...

    We had a lovely time!

And here we are! Lft to rt - Chaumi, Danny, me, Pawras) This was three quarters of the way through so Chaumi was still smiling - we were really gutted for him that he missed out. But a great day's racing in the best company - haven't enjoyed a day's racing like that in a while. Happy with my...
