The remaining November Meeting races at Cheltenham

Think this an interesting spot Gordon. El Capitaine is 7 from 8 pointing for Josh Newman and Kayley Woollacott and has also bagged a 2m5f hurdle under rules. I was there when he won at Chipley Park and anything that manages to gallop up the Chipley Hill in the testing ground over 3m (he beat...

    2025 In Memoriam (Racing People)

Probably because I backed her - I was 17 and at school doing my A levels and she broke up a pretty rigorous revision period. I was at boarding school so it was a question of sneaking off to find a tv to watch her - that was after I'd very illegally managed to get a bet on up the William Hill...

Gordon - yes that's great - thanks. IIRC El Capitaine was Josh Newmans? Fountains I presume is with Anthony Honeyball as I remember his sister, Teresa Clark being annoyed that was another he nabbed from her! Interesting fact, their father, John Honeyball was responsible for the early education...

    The 2025 Troytown Handicap Chase

I was trying to get a friend to buy Cleatus Poolaw to go pointing at the end of last season. He didn't take me up on the suggestion. Shame.

    2025 In Memoriam (Racing People)

Brian Rouse has sadly passed away at the age of 85. Best known for being the rider of my beloved Stannera who famously won two at Royal Ascot in the same year firstly in the Prince of Wales Stakes where she bettered Grundy's course record and later in the week when she won the Hardwicke Stakes...

Yeah I stuck him in Jumpers to Note last season so I am glad they like him too! Bit annoyed after all that, I forgot to put him in my Ten to Follow although I did stick him in the List.
