Backing Venetia Williams' Chasers In November with Andrew Mount

As shown before these are my trainer seasonality stats for Venetia Williams chase races from 2000. But is her success weighted towards the end of the November? One bit of SQL later to show what days those 151 winners are in shows it's slightly weighted towards the end of the month. However...

The 2025 Paddy Power Gold Cup (Handicap Chase)

some do, some don't , I find it quite useful for some races as just another factor to consider of course it being something you can't do it's obviously shit and/or already factored into the market

The 2025 Paddy Power Gold Cup (Handicap Chase)

Not normally my sort of betting race but seen as I'll be there talking shite all day with Danny, here's the Paddy Power Gold Cup Handicap Chase trial race stats from the 5 day early decs. First report shows the races where runners this year ran in the last renewal, nothing I would view as...

The 2025 Paddy Power Gold Cup (Handicap Chase)

Hi everyone – new member here, excited to join the community

I think you were overly negative in your view, the betting industry may be different who knows but in my experience with techy data stuff a handful of the right guys can come up with something better than or new to what's out there. I.e. something me and small team did inhouse completely kicked...

Hi everyone – new member here, excited to join the community

Having at one time been tech lead on BI projects in business world, raw public data known by all is one thing but kpi's derived from that are refined as time goes on to try and get 'better numbers' than the competition or new data they simply don't have. Also in my experience a smallish team of...

The 2025 Paddy Power Gold Cup (Handicap Chase)

When I get the 5 days decs into my sys I'll do an initial run of the trial/pointer race report to see if any of the races have any standouts. I don't look at my ratings seriously until the 48hr decs come out cos individual ratings for the race are partially influenced by others in the race so...

    Irish Sunday Racing Thread

I have Champ Kiely clear top of my ratings in the 1502 Naas Barberstown Castle Chase , plus it's most prominent in trial/pointer race stats shown below. Inthepocket was the fav earlier this morning and I have it about joint 2nd top with Only By Night, and they both carry a lot less weight than...

2025 Melbourne Cup - Race Prediction, Tips, Picks, & Expert Thoughts on Which Horse Will Win On The Day

I had a look to see if any of the runners tomorrow have come from the last renewal of any uk/ire/fr/hk races and this is what my db spat out. Doesn't look like runners who ran in the Melbourne Cup the prev year fare well.
