Just when you think the BHA can't get any more stupid and deluded.....

I agree with a lot of the comments here e.g. football accas are the betting medium of choice for many casual saturday punters that would have previously gravitated to horse racing. The nature of my work means I've worked all over the uk for a broad spread of companies, and believe me the bha's...

    Trainers In Form

for the last 30 day 17 runners , 6 winners , strike 35.3% , lsp £32.8, prior that the number of winners drop drammatically

    Trainers In Form

I've been playing about with trainer jockey combos "in form", so using data up to and inc 23/8/25 and those with rides today and tomorrow I generated my report. Then looked at those combos who've had >=10 rides the last 30 days and their prb2 for that period has been >= 50 , I got the following.

I bet the RP wouldn't make public just how much of their revenue comes from click throughs from their website to 'bookmakers'.......

The 2025 York August Meeting Day 1 (Wednesday) thread

I have Pride Of Arras as an ew bet alongside a win bet on Lambourn, cos of it's win in the York Dante Flat Stakes 1m 2f 56y Group2 in May, see my York Great Voltigeur trial/pointer race stats below. They reduced the distance for the Queens Vase in 2017 and in 8 runs at the lower distance there...

The 2025 Great St Wilfrid Handicap

I didn't fancy the winner but I don't think any of the first 4 ran last year

The 2025 Great St Wilfrid Handicap

Not the kind of race I bet in but here's an interesting titbit, since 2000, 86 horses have come to Ripon St Wilfrid Flat Handicap after running in it the previous year, of those only 4 (4.7%) have won and 22 (25.6%) have won or placed, all showing an LSP loss. Among those are 8 who won the...

the £s are prize money i.e. some could be having similar levels of success in terms of strike but in very different classes of races

not in my view, but it's something more for when I look at trainers

And viewing the longer term and the £ per run info, Hollie is top then Saffie

    Nicola Currie

I haven't looked at yet, I just blatted out the numbers. You can see she doesn't get the same number of rides as some of the others, but if you compare hers stats with the others for last 365 days I would say she's not in Hollie Doyle's league, the what/where/why/hows of that are another matter

Her and others stats up to and inc 12/08/25

    Trainers In Form

There is that, but there's also just having better numbers than other people e.g. not all speed ratings are of equal merit

    Trainers In Form

I agree up to a point but there is also the view that working with trainer, jockey or horse info, numerical or other, not available to the world & his wife, helps provide an edge

In your case it was the moon as well when we were in the bookies in Chelt town centre afterwards betting on the Wolv AW night racing

    Trainers In Form

I have a thread where I've posted stuff. Response will be on a case by case basis , in some instances it will be 1.01 to be fk off and when you get there fk off again a bit further

    Trainers In Form

I have a jockey report the same as the trainer one I showed an excerpt of. I've dabbled with trainer jockey combos before but to do that report for those would mean some new code

Articles the Racing Post put behind a paywall that you'd want paying to read....

I agree the data it produces is its best asset. A quote from one their main journalists when I was chatting with one a good while since was "We have to play the game" i.e. no chance of saying anything to upset the apple cart.
