Hi Outsider - yes, and HC Swan on the favourite. That’s where my one point each will be placed. And JH Williamson who is riding at 2-6, gets the EW money at 16/1 (a GE Elliot horse) - 0.5pts ew. I fancy Gordon Elliot to have a big day at Cheltenham tomorrow.

Thanks for this, Ian. I think it’s a classic example of shortcuts having their limitations and eventually coming undone. I suppose it’s in my nature to go looking for a few shortcuts. But, tbh, I don’t think I have the level of curiosity in me to seek out the extra layers of detail that ekes...

Morning all, There’s an amateur race today at Ludlow at 16:37. Only four horses, sadly, but Eleanor Williams is the only jockey with recent form in the book (1-3, over the past 14 days). Two points win on at 4/1, Pooroldmackley.

From the past 14 days, yes. The thread looks for the ‘shortcut’. I don’t know these jockeys of whom you speak. I just back the horse whose jockey has relevant form over the previous 14 days.
