Ana O'Brien isn't all that good IMHO but she's better than her sister is in bumpers etc. Martin

    Female Jockeys

Gina Andrews, Emily Easterby (Flat amateur races), Brodie Hampson all very good. Tabitha Worsley been around a few years and most of her rides are on her mum's horses over jumps but she's very good too. Antonia Peck v impressive so far too from a very limited number of rides (think 4 or 5 P2P...

    Staking

Yes but an adapted version a good friend who uses a similar system designed for me. It's great if you price a race up yourself and punt the value so to speak. If you're restricted with firms it can be hard though. Martin

    Breeding and Bloodstock Sales

Know a few people who have bought Black Sam Bellamy mares cheaply and won a p2p with them before selling them - can think of two that were less than £1,000 off hand that made £30k+ so anything cheap by him going through the ring might draw more attention from folk I know lol

    Breeding and Bloodstock Sales

My friend looked at them as yearlings I think - said you can put them in a field for a bit if they don't look great or break them in and send them p2ping or into a bumper yourself. My friends weren't expensive so weren't the best page wise. Martin

    Breeding and Bloodstock Sales

A friend of mine told me she really liked the Schiaparelli's she saw at the sales a couple of years ago but plenty of others didn't. Think she bought three pretty cheaply privately. Our old mare Megablue scanned in foal to Pether's Moon at Yorton Farm this week so excited to see what she...

Agree, think Packettotherafters will handle the ground better than most and at around 33's he's a bit of value. Nothing major though, also backed Lotus Pond in a match with Forarrdon Xmoor @ 8/11 with WH. Martin

Think it's between him and Young Hurricane - the one I can't have at all at the current price is Shantou Magic, well worth laying as rate both Monsieur Jourdain & Tallow Fair as having a better chance than him also. Martin

I couldn't back either of those two at the prices - they were 11/1 & 7/1 respectively with me. Two against the field would be Rye Cross (10/3 here) and Well Mett (9/2). Martin

Alfa Wolf has had three starts already this season (disappointing the last twice) and goes at Prague again in a Class 3 1m race on Sunday. Always have a good jockey up and Jan Raja who's won on him before rides on Sunday. Martin

    The Pointing Thread

I'm not one for getting heavily involved in these P2P bumpers - very tricky races but Fran Nimmo's horse with Gina up is a very interesting contender here. The yard buy store horses to win with and then sell on to go under rules. Dusty Pearl finished runner-up to a nice looking horse of Phillip...
