Good horse, moderate jockey - recipe for the poorhouse sadly. Think Master Workman is a big price still at 7's for the second HC with a top jockey up once more.

Beaten about 2L into third in a five horse race. Plenty of ability there just outpaced 2/3 out and stayed on again late - hopefully will get another run into him in May maybe but we'll see how he comes out of this. Martin

Good luck, certainly has a big chance but slight concern the jockey is having her first ride over regulation fences here. We run Ididandididn't in the Open Maiden in about 5 minutes time at Charing. Hoping for a good run with Oz Wedmore up, ground should suit him anyway but looks a competitive...

Cheers Eddie - will make a note of those. Hidden Drifter who I'm told was placed in a couple of schooling bumpers in Ireland broke her maiden in a four runner maiden contest over 2m4f at Godstone on Sunday. Love this mare and she's getting better with racing and needs 3m++ to be seen at her...

Good call Benny!! No idea which those would be tbh SC - both aren't a million miles away from Parham (which is next to the gliding club near enough in Storrington). Lovely course with a few houses in the middle (or rather a cottage or two), big open backstraight and relatively tight bend from...

Looks quite an open race tbh with the fav probs on the short side. Once more Delta Borget running over the right trip but a few of these are unexposed at this distance (most notably Our Chief). I've chanced Little Cornham at a big price, there's a chance he'll be outpaced over 2m3f but should...

I've backed Broken Eagle @ 33's ante-post which looks a bit of a rubbish bet given you can now get 4 places and 40's. Drying ground would help him. Will also be backing Poole Master who's won over C&D in the past and 20/1+ looks big about him with a decent jockey up. Martin

Very good memory Eddie - I also tried to buy him but Heidi had beaten me to it. He's a lovely horse just have my doubts about his stamina over the big fences. There's a few in there I'd like to see run well for purely sentimental reasons - Loch Ba, Decade Player, Broken Eagle, Never Complain...

He's certainly the progressive one but not much value on my tissue (or any as I have him @ 6/1). Double Bank the value play @ 20's at present IMHO.

Alfa Wolf finished 4th of 16 - very pleasing return to action and on the same day his stablemate Partyday finished runner-up in a listed race in Germany which is good for the yard too, Partyday won the Czech 1000 Guineas in 2016. Martin

Yes very sad news regarding James - an old boy who loved racing, a true corinthian. He had a lot of his rides for Laura Thomas who trains Full Trottle. Martin

We needed that one tbf Benny been a long season so far, good call - I played 2 value bets in an earlier race in France, missed out the third as the price was crashing. They finished 1-2-3 - no prizes for guessing which one won. Martin

No worries mate - glad you enjoyed it.Not been to as many p2p's as I'd like to have this year but will be going to Tabley on Sunday and need to book the train down for Northaw. Hoping we get to run our horse there but due to go run over Easter too - should run a lot better than in previous...

Nothing wrong with his p2p form Benny - looks good. Few in here with decent form, FT looks a bit of a short runner so this drop in trip should suit. First saw him at Cottenham over roughly 2m6f, he was skating home and then fell over at the last. Looks a lovely horse in Open company this year...

    Daily picks.

That's a hell of an effort Gigs - I struggle to price up every type of a certain race in France and there's probably only 15-20 I can bet on per week at most, the rest are all minor meetings and I've yet to find a way of getting on or rather yet to find a person in France who can get on for me...
