The horse I have a share in over in the Czech Republic (Alfa Wolf) runs at Prague on Sunday. It looks a hot race so he has an apprentice taking weight off but has placed in similar races before so hopefully he runs well again.Martin

Grandturgeon a horse I've followed since his Loughrea maiden win since a friend of mine over the sea told me he was a Graded performer in the making. He's had enough injury issues since then but still has plenty of ability.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet of late on the HC front - early season races I've found can be dodgy but agree with your assessment Benny. That said the prices look about right as previous yard bought Doeslessthanme to go p2ping/HCing but then found out he was ineligible when revised eligibility...

Race of the Day - Auteuil

Well done Grassy!! Sadly I wasn't there but some good clues for the future from the TV - and hopefully the 10(ish) jockeys who took the wrong course in one of the handicap chases made note of the course for next time! Racebets will let you do PMU Viking. Martin

Not sure I can claim much credit for that one but nice to get AQ beaten and hope to see Murrayana winning soon.

Sorry Absurdistan only just seen this - my view would have been to leave the first one as the value about Galway Jack had gone and to back The Highlander (UR) in the second. 16:30 Musselburgh - Decade Player @ 5/2. Really sweet on this one, won two short HC's last year at Wetherby and Stratford...

    Cheltenham Logistics Advice

Hang around in Cheltenham for an hour or so after the last - walk back into the town and have a beer or two on the way then get a train at 7-7:30ish and I reckon you'd probably be ok.

Aye he nearly got there, not sure I'll be on next time lol looks an I/R horse still. Fakenham tomorrow - tricky race, probably best avoided. Martin

She's a fine jockey, she's from Devon/Cornwall way and used to work for Becky Curtis, rode Made In Time in a few HC's and think she may have won on him in the past. She's at University in Kent now and rides out and schools for our trainer quite a bit, never met her but lovely girl by all...

I've backed Sybarite at Leicester today - the horse looked to go sour last time he ran under Rules but a move to this yard seems to have perked him up a bit, he stays well, isn't far off being the best horse in the race on old form (on current form at this trip he is the best horse IMHO) and...

Punchestown is on this coming Sunday I think that shouldn't be too far away (it's held at the racecourse). There'll be a few in Wexford but as Therightroad says a lot of them are in Cork/Waterford/Limerick areas, Tattersalls Farm should be racing in April though and is on the site of the Tatts...

Good read that - probably best to get the first winner on the board. 15:55 Wetherby - Ardea @ 7/4 Martin

I've backed High Hatton E/W up at Musselburgh. There's very little in it on ratings (4 or 5lbs tops) between the likes of Cave Hunter, Carlton Ryan, High Hatton etc. and getting weight off all those rivals on account of no chase win just swings it in his favour with a very decent looking 5lb...

Decent opposition entered up against PDC at Wetherby on Saturday. No P2P runs for WC and should be eligible for Cheltenham too if they can get a couple of quick outings into him.

Off hand (v quick look) I'd make Clondaw Frisby favourite and given he's a Luso and seems to have improved late on would give So Influential a decent chance. I've backed ATW for the Foxhunters but he looks very short at Wincanton, has to be doubts with Rebel Rebellion dropped into this class...
