    Indian curries ?

https://www.veeraswamy.com/ London's oldest surviving Indian restaurant. Like you, I've only been once and that was in the late 70s. The king prawn were huge.

    Indian curries ?

From 50 plus years experience, I'd say that the quality of dishes at an individual 'Indian' (most likely Bangladeshi) restaurant varies both with the geographical location and one's individual taste. From the 11pm Meat Ceylon (vvvvv hot) in Sutton Coldfield in the 70s to the several delicious...

Well done. Quite similar to Airlie in size and attitude. The usual Patrick ride for a newbie and she ran on well enough. Possibly, like Airlie, they will let her go on in her races when she has a little more experience.

Best of luck to you guys. Like you I was surprised to see her starting at Downpatrick in July but, to be fair, her sister (the sainted Airlie Beach) started at Kilbeggan in August. I'd be encouraged that he's given her that name and he's leasing her to you. He sold Airlie Beach for 20k but he's...

Going forward, Lazy Griff at 9/1 strikes me as a decent ew bet in the Leger. It's a defined target and his apparent main rivals may well go elsewhere.

    Your first Derby memories

60 years ago was the best, in my opinion, Derby winner in my lifetime. I wasn't interested in racing at the time but Sea Bird II penetrated even my bubble. This enhanced Pathe report is interesting and one that I'd not seen before.

Whats the best horse youve seen race live

Flat - Montjeu (1999 Arc). Beat a very good horse from a difficult position two out. The King George win was pretty impressive too but I wasn't present then. Jumps - Badsworth Boy (1983 Champion Chase). The only winner by a distance and despite making a horlicks of the second last.

Perfectly adequate hotels near Heuston station would be: Budget - Phoenix Park Hotel Upmarket - Ashling Hotel Also, Ryan's of Parkgate Street does a fine pint of Guinness and is 5 minutes walk from the station.
