I backed Doddie but forgot to back Wonderwall!

Is he one of the most underrated horses in training? I think when horses win races because potential superstars fall and give them the race ( eg Moscow Flyer and Istabraq) they sometimes spend their career having people never giving them the credit they deserve.

On the Racing Post race cards. I always look for horses that have a much higher RPR than OR and I’m not aware of so many having a lower RPR.

I don’t understand the OR and RPR’s in this race given that most of the horses seem to have a lower RPR than OR.

I wonder if that’s why they considered sending him over fences?

No, it was Gone to Lunch. This was a long time ago. He was a farmer who trained a few pointers but took out a licence and was lucky to have a horse like Gone to Lunch who kicked off his training career.
