I think 'shocking' is a bit strong, Slim. It looked more to me like it isn't a natural chaser and still finished third, beaten by the pair with race fitness on their side.

Burdett Road had no problem with very soft ground when winning the Triumph trial race at this meeting. I wouldn't be too worried.

I see my longshot Issar d'Airy has been taken out as well. I was torn between Jagwar and Vincenzo for this but backing both wasn't very appealing. With the former out I'm happy to have a bet on Vincenzo.
