I'm not sure either. A moderate jockey (but brilliant when winning races for me!) whose lilt made him attractive to the TV people hoping his 'charm of the Irish' would bring in more female viewers (to give their guide dogs a wee break), and a gift of the gab that was ideal for filling time...

I thought Mick Fitz was pretty gushing - even for him - when he was talking about CH the other week. I was very tempted to back it for the big one. Still swithering. If it is indeed back anywhere near its best it will make 9/4 look like an early Christmas present.
