A long time ago I saw a horse called Pirate Army win at Chepstow. Luca Cumani trained. I spoke to the lad after the race as the horse walked around us and he said Frankie isn’t as good as Ray Cochrane, especially in a finish. That worked out well!

Not yet Grassy……Im on S1 ep7. It’s insane. It’s like a documentary it makes me nervous watching it; it’s so real. Makes The Sopranos look like Sesame Street. I’m so glad I found another series as I’ve exhausted all of the fantastic ones: BB, Better Call Saul, Ozark, Succession etc.

After watching Dessie I couldn’t wait to go and see horse racing for real. My first time was Taunton, around 1989/90 ish? The first race winner was Aimee Jane, MC Pipe, Peter Scudamore. I couldn’t believe how better it was watching it live than on TV. Anyone remember theirs?
