    Ladbrokes Exchange

Agreed, but if Ladbrokes aren't able to offer anything new on the day of their glorious launch, then it doesn't augur well for the immediate future. The fact that they've virtually withdrawn from the cut and thrust of the fixed-odds market suggests that they are devoid of trading nous, and all...

    Ladbrokes Exchange

You didn't mention millions, but if this new venture can't guarantee millions of pounds of new liquidity, then the venture is no more than a loss leader. Does anyone else feel that Ladbrokes can create an influx of new money, or even seed their own horseracing markets? I'd be gobsmacked if...

    Ladbrokes Exchange

I would wager that they wouldn't have a clue how to do that on horseracing markets, so it won't be happening.

    Ladbrokes Exchange

The notion that millions of pounds of exchange liquidity has been lying dormant because of customer loyalty to Ladbrokes is utterly risible. Has there been more than twenty quid matched on tomorrow's racing yet?

    Ladbrokes Exchange

Nobody gives a flying feck about the "skin" or the layout - this is just another door into Betdaq. It may benefit Ladbrokes to treat them as separate entities for accounting purposes, but from the point of view of the punter (that is, the only point of view which counts) there is absolutely...

    Ladbrokes Exchange

Even Ladbrokes aren't stupid enough to operate 2 separate exchanges!

    Ladbrokes Exchange

It's not integrated with Betdaq - it is Betdaq. Massive yawn.

    Channel 4 - Sat 9th Nov

I, for one, am all in favour of a thread in which the words "pish" and "poshos" are bandied about willy-nilly. More please.

    Daily picks.

You keep forgetting whether you're meant to be a clueless sheep or a stopwatch veteran. It's hard keeping track of false identities, isn't it?

    Novice chasers 2013/14

Jumping fine, but he still has the most awkward head carriage, and that doesn't help a jockey trying to position him in a better race. He also seems dependant on dominating, which will be fine in minor graded company, but simply impossible in a race like the Arkle. Just my opinion, of course...

    Novice chasers 2013/14

He'd be a million to get round at Cheltenham, never mind win. Huge engine, but a nutcase who will (imo) be better beating up his inferiors. He didn't wear blinkers, btw, but a hood, as he has done since his debut.

    Charlie Deutsch

The beast he won on at Cheltenham won a point when Charlie rode as well, but looked nearly useless under other riders (hence the SP). He looks decent, and certainly doesn't lack confidence, or admirers. Would be more concerned about him keeping his feet on the ground than about his ability.
