    Glorious Goodwood

I actually think that was a really bad ride by Hollie. Gave her far too much to do.

King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes 2023

My vet said they can swerve the racecourse vets if they want to and most of the time do. I would think he's pulled/strained something, especially the way Ryan seemed to be indicating on the walk in.

Nothing was coming from behind all day, ground decribed as tacky by a couple although I think Jim Crowley said it was proper good ground in his post race interview, also adding that Hukum doesn't need soft ground, but horses finding it hard to make up ground if they weren't handy.

King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes 2023

If there was anything suspicious done it took a while to kick in as he was lively in the pre parade and we were standing right near box 1, or Coolmore Corner as known apparently as they always use that box. The Coolmore horses all came in together and Adian said for AR to be last one saddled as...

King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes 2023

Watching the race back, and concentrating on AR, Ryan asked him to pick up but there was absolutely no reaction. Ryan gave him one smack but there was nothing there. I would hazard that reaction and the way he was talking and pointing when he came in, that something was hurting the horse already...

It's the Bona Vacantia personnel telling me should have, should do etc. Well the one I spoke to this time is. The one I spoke to last year told me I had no rights etc and couldn't /shouldn't have done anything.

Flat horses to note for the season

Richard Hannon Junior at the pre parade ring today told me to back Rosallion. He said ' he's a very good horse'. I rarely bet as already mentioned , and I would quite honestly, never back a Hannon horse although I know he and his father have/had a good record with a lot of 2 year olds...

Just back from Ascot...what a great race, once Pyledriver out of it, I was screaming Hukum home What a great finish by both horses though. August Rodin a beautiful horse to look at albeit not a lot of him. King Of Steel is a monster. Fantastic looking horse. Ryan seemed to be indicating...

Yes but someone has to report it and there's no obligation in place for that to be a hospital/hospice/police ( if body found at home/suspicious circumstances) etc. There's nothing that states any emergency service have to report a death to anyone other than local authority if no one comes...

Saw yesterday that they are filming both performances next Wednesday so hopefully will be available to a wider audience soon.

That's partly putting me off as I'm struggling to fit it in on a Sunday with horse duties... plus it's 3 hours 20 by time adverts etc. I may try as think it's one of those that if missed will be annoyed waiting for 2 years for it, but I really don't like Murphy.

King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes 2023

I very rarely bet and I've put a massive, for me, £5 each way on Hamish. He's got fitness on his side, and more rain due round later apparently so he has to have an each way chance I would hope. I'm not expecting him to win but 3rd would be good :) Just looking at the results from today, the...

Barjon, thank you but I registered the death as the hospital told me I could even though only a friend. The registrar didn't say I couldn't either - but she did tell me I could go on the Tell Us Once website and I absolutely could not. It is very specific as to who can report a death and who...

Anyone seen Oppenheimer? I'm not a fan of Murphy but Sir Ken is in it and the reviews say RDJ is excellent but just wondering whether to go or not? Thanks.

Surprised AR not shorter or is that the rain affecting his price? I'm 6 miles away and its been raining steadily all day, and most of yesterday evening it was as well. Going on RP now saying soft.

Well yes. She also said that I could get a locksmith to open the house, change the locks and keep the new keys, taking out anything financial, including the £5000 worth of premium bonds we found amongst other things. When I told my friend, who's been on every visit with me to the house as...

Wimbledon : if it's 'easier' to get a general entry ticket and just wonder round the outside courts see a lot of the top players, even if playing doubles, could you try that? A friend and I did that a couple pf times and really had great days there. I would love to watch the wheelchair tennis...

    The People's Champion?

It's near impossible to pick one based on performances, or particularly loved but not perhaps the greatest, Ela Mana Mou would be one for me, Ardross...should have won the Arc/Piggott bereft.....Rummy, Grand National day was Rummy for years, but from personal, huge chunk of life direction...
