I don’t know, but it’s horrible. Donuts / doughnuts should be crunchy cooked and crunchy sugar !!

But PLEASE make sure it’s a proper jam doughnut with real sugar on, not this powdered shite that so many places use these days.

Forum member jailed - Chris Beek Racing - Kachina Racing

As you say, there’s more front than Woolies going on. I’ve just gone and read it all again - I missed the whole of page 2, it must have been put up when I had a break from here. Some people…

I wondered what he’d been up to - given what he has done in the past to many people it’s sad that he’s not learnt a thing from it. Your poor friend. Some people are incredibly plausible and that’s what they do - prey on nice people.

    French Guineas meeting

It will be interesting to see how the appeal plays out given the other views and the whip ( or hand after he dropped it!) misuse. I know what I think it will be though.

    TV coverage

He’s at Badminton doing the commentary for the BBC ( as is Rishi) I don’t mind either of them - it’s nice to see them doing other horse sports as well.

The original one? His were pink with either a purple or green ( hard to tell on the video I just saw!) in the UK - the foreign pictures were all black and white, so I can’t see what they were once he sold abroad. The new one looks to be black with an orange cross :)

    oddschecker

I only use oddschecker for the cheltenham comp, so I’m even less use than usual 😆 glad it’s all working ok again.

Eva’s Oscar has retired and will have a hopefully very long and happy one with Lucinda who’s looked after him since he arrived at Tim Vaughan’s.

    Breeding and Bloodstock Sales

Over in Australia on Thursday is the Chairman’s sale, featuring some of the best recently retired race mares ( Bella Nipotina and Amelia’s Jewel to name but two!) also there’s Too Darn Lizzie and her dam both going under the hammer. Will be an interesting watch...

    What are you watching

Except reading up about it, the purpose of the show is how humans almost killed it off and how they are bringing it back with the history etc. looks quite good Maureen, I might have a look too!! https://kenburns.com/films/the-american-buffalo/

Equine Retirements, Long Term Injuries and Departures

It’s horrible - and it makes no difference if you’re on the owner / stable side of things or the veterinary side - having been both, it never gets easier.

Equine Retirements, Long Term Injuries and Departures

I didn’t go back and watch it again, but sounds about right - a thwack in the right place does awful things and while I wasn’t concentrating on the back of the pack ( I wasn’t concentrating too hard on the front either truth be told 😆) I didn’t notice what made him fall - just land and go off to...

Equine Retirements, Long Term Injuries and Departures

Have to say that’s along my thinking - he’d only run four times over fences before Saturday and while I’m all for throwing horses in at the deep end sometimes - that wasn’t ever it IMO. But I’m not the Mullins yard and they obviously thought he’d be fine. Sometimes it’s not to be.
