Bit disappointed there's no love for my NH selections.

A boring answer, but if I can't make my own selections, I'd pack up and do something else, but in the spirit of the thread, I'll take Gus, EC and reet. For as much as their selections, and races they tend to bet in rather than believing anyone stands out above some of the names already...

I refuse to debate this race in enthusiastic fashion since it has been moved to a Saturday.

Nice work Gus. Let's hope J Wonder is priced on her official rating in the Lowther.

    What are you backing Today?

I'm unconvinced Biographer's meanderings are down to his ground preferences rather than his genes. Think he's always the sort that will be a bit wayward. Would prefer a jockey that can make his mind up for him.

    Another fast race?

Shot In The Sun up 4 lb but still looks well in to me. Declared for the 1.50 at Newmarket on Saturday, and the 8/1 generally available looks pretty fair.

Just one major concern. I find it hard to back Paul Cole horse, never mind one that he has got to keep sound all winter!

Playing Devil's advocate, but you cannot expect it to can you? A horse not seen to best effect in a messy Guineas then kept to a Group 3 is never going to have run the figures that a 5l Guineas/St James's Palace winner and Sussex runner-up. Don't think anyone that would say Intello is a bet...

    Another fast race?

J Wonder up to 85 and Midnite Angel up to 90. Would fancy them both to start pretty short off those marks.

    Another fast race?

Midnite Angel entered up in Sweet Solera back at HQ on Sat. Could take on Dunlop's Goodwood mdn winner that was behind J Wonder at Newbury.

    Another fast race?

Agree on the 2 Newmarket races. Any figs for the juveniles on Sar at Goodwood? Nursery looks good despite visuals and sectionals suggesting it favoured close ups, would look out for Our Queenie in particular in similar company.

Gus Whatever Barry Hills said, it won't be as funny as Terry Mills' comments after the Tillerman/Where or When Celebration Mile.

Can't have it that Buick is a better jockey than Hughes. Hughes didn't do much wrong on Sky Lantern. Goodwood essentially a track that law of averages says you'll be made to look like that at times.

    That too, makes sense Reet.

It's based on sample of all big fields in handicaps over last few seasons, not split by ground. Sorry.

That makes sense, but I've never been much of a fan of EW betting.

Big fields over 5f/6f at Goodwood give a pretty good advantage to low drawn horses.

Hot Snap's absence since the Guineas suggests to me there were other issues than the ground in the Guineas. She's really difficult to get a handle on, but her presence stops me having a good go on Just The Judge. Reet, in my opinion, there's foreign form and then Dubai form, the latter of which...
