    The 2025 Cambridgeshire (Handicap)

Nail on the head, and after last night's study, I really couldn't have said it better myself. I see Bet 365 are ducking Tribal Chief too. Denise only goes 11s.

The 2025 Ayr Gold Cup (Handicap)

Same re-Jubilee Walk, Danny. I'll probably have a saver on Twilight Calls aswell. Good luck all.

You're right. 12/1 was a big price for it.

Ayr Bronze Cup - The market with regards to horses at the head of the betting looks about right, and there's several with highly progressive looking profiles. If there's a longshot in there at 20/1 who might place, it could well be Johnny Concrete. He's a course and distance winner, that won...

A good run to finish second, given he was slowly away from the stalls.

    The 2025 Longshot Thread

"Austrian Theory used to be trained by Charlie Johnston, then went to Tim Easterby. Firstly, I'm drawing a line through the last couple of efforts. Before that he ran really a fine race when three and a quarter lengths behind Fox Legacy in the John Smiths Cup. The history of his form shows when...

    Flatties to follow 2025

Primo ran a shocker the last day but he's surely better than that. Havlin on board for Yarmouth's 4.30 today and 10/1 is a fair enough price. I wouldn't put anyone off, (no pun intended).

The 2025 Ayr Gold Cup (Handicap)

VaticAN.. I thought this was code for a return to form from the top weight Annaf, then I read on.

What are you backing Today? Part 2

I fancy a few tomorrow. I'll give Spangled Mac another chance in the sprint now he's seemingly returned to some decent form. The horse who he was third to the last day, Eternal Sunshine, when giving away 22lb in weight, won the Portland earlier today, so that's definately a positive. Lou Lou's...

    The 2025 Irish Champions' Festival

He could well be but the race is run on grass not paper and he's still too short for my liking. Booyea ran a hell of a race last time when too keen finishing 6th, if he settles better tomorrow he's no 20/1 shot.

FFS. Prydwen another second placer for myself today.

    Another Newbie

"Have fun one and all" Shouldn't this read... Have fun one and all, this is not a recommendation, I am just sharing my own opinion, not suggesting anyone else act on it.

What are you backing Today? Part 2

Faded late on this day but he was only beaten four and a half lengths and it was his first run for a while so he can come on for it. He's dropped to handicap class again in tomorrows 2.40 at Chester. He has a chance at double figure odds.

    The 2025 Longshot Thread

For what it's worth, and that may not be much, I'm interested in Do Bronxs in the 1.50. It's a significant class drop from the last outing in a Group 1 where he wasn't beaten a million miles. It looks as if they tryed to race prominently and he was taken off his feet. The extra furlong here and...

The 2025 PJ Towey Construction Handicap

"Failure to practise what I preach". Reminds me of when I said Go Dante was a lively contender for a Imperial Cup repeat at Sandown after his run in the Scweppes at Newbury, (DO used to call it that didn't he, where is DO by the way, is he okay?), only to well and truly talk myself into backing...

    The 2025 Longshot Thread

On a serious note, Ian. Will it really be soft ground tomorrow, or am I actually backing a good ground horse sired by Kingman, on what will turn out to be a good ground day.

Donny 3:00 Chorus - The grandsire is Pivotal and therefore I'm thinking she's bred to appreciate soft ground conditions? Anyone know what the progeny of her sire Kingman prefer? Ha'way, tell one what he wants to hear! :)

    The Cork "Scabs" Thread

I'm blonde, but I get this reddish beard if I let it grow long enough, an. I think this is where Gerry's DNA really shines through. Just saying.
