    Murtagh at Ballydoyle

"I left on very good terms and Aidan O'Brien is a brilliant trainer. I'd hope to ride many more times for Ballydoyle in 2011."

    Leopardstown Christmas Festival

Following the heavy snowfall yesterday afternoon the track at Leopardstown is currently covered by 4 to 5 inches of snow and current weather predictions suggest that the thaw may not come as early as anticipated. Leopardstown General Manager Tom Burke expressed concerns about the track being...

    Novice Chasers 2010/11

The ground will surely be very testing at Fairyhouse. I've heard they're considering moving Saturday's card to Monday to keep it 'fresh' for Sunday's big card.

    Murtagh at Ballydoyle

Heffernan won the Gr 1 on Cape Blanco. O'Donoghue's win was on Joshua Tree. It's poorly written. 'True, the stable hasn't been dominating the international Flat racing scene like it once did but, with 11 Group One victories this year, you couldn't say it has slunk into irreversible decline'...

    Murtagh at Ballydoyle

11 Group Ones for Ballydoyle this season? By my reckoning he's 4 short with that tally.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but I see that Laughing Lashes has been bought by Betty Maxwell Moran. Presumably staying with Jessie?

    Arse Cup

Could not agree more. I have little time for McCririck, but he's right to point out the horrible flailing from Smith in the home straight.

    Urban Sea- Dead

Most of them were poor but the 3rd went on to win a Group 1 and run 2nd to Goldikova, while the 5th turned out to be a dual Group 1 winner.

I predict that Dunboyne won't be running in the Gladness (unless they change the conditions of the race).

I also thought Jessie's Harrington's horse was very disappointing in the Eyrefield. I thought he looked promising first time out, beating the well touted Apache, but he never looked like getting into it today.
