That's incredible Gordon! You really are an inspiration in what you have achieved - a comment shared recently to me by Taunton Racecourse.

It was a typo!! I had seen he was second and I only got paid for second too. Spoke to the owner who is rightly over the moon! The winner cost £190k and is their Supreme Novice horse this season who they rate very highly - he'd also had a run over hurdles whereas Wolfie hadn't. Plus he was...

    Car Insurance

I'm on £175 with M&S - low mileage and a good driving record. Plus car kept in a "locked" barn overnight. It went up this year for the first time in about 4 from £150. That's fully comp too. I have a 21yo Saab 93 convertible.

I'm a bit blown away by how well he looks to have won! Sadly the Betfair video was not working so I was unable to watch it. Hopefully it will rectify itself so I can watch a replay on ATR. I am absolutely thrilled for them. One of the owners gave me the mare I have (Parstara, dam of Springtime...

No, he won three at Larkhill before the Cheltenham race and prior to that he had three point runs in Ireland. Back after a week off with a nasty lurgy plus I just needed a switch off.

The lovely Wolf Walker who is owned by a good friend, runs at Hereford in the first tomorrow. He won his first three points for Chris Barber so nicely season before last and then went to Cheltenham for a Hunter Chase but it rained and the ground was dire. Biddick looked after him that day but he...

And we can quite happily trot out stories of happiness and contentment when it is anything but. The internet is a funny place where people can hide behind the real them. I know several people who are brash and confident online but in real life are anything but.

The Official Constitution Hill Thread 2025/26

They are all white now including I notice in Ireland. They used to be orange but the research showed that white was more visible for horses than orange so they all got changed. Plus hurdles are now filled with plastic rather than birch and I wonder if they are less forgiving too.

I actually didn't have a bet but I am so happy for Jezza. She is a diamond of a mare for a little yard up on Exmoor and the girl that looks after her, Emily is such a sweetie. On another note, discussion here is about the actual hurdles. Are these plastic filled hurdles with a bright white bar...

Can we all just get back to the topic and stop with banter/insults or whatever. You are grown adult men. Behave like them!

    Todays Racing -----England--Ireland

Absolutely! I was looking for The Wallpark who was a big price as he hadn't jumped well last time on his chase debut. He put in a few iffy jumps early and then just stayed where he was.

    Todays Racing -----England--Ireland

I've just watched the first from Fairyhouse which was a beginner's chase won nicely by Jimmy du Seuil (Patrick Mullins 900th winner) from The Big Westerner. But it was just a four horse race cos the bulk of the jockeys just ignored the front four and anchored their horses 15-20 lengths off the...
