They always buy decent horses and almost always sell at a profit. It's a very well-run syndicate. I remember them winning at Huntgingdon on the same day as Penzance - with Voy Por Ustedes! What a shame they sold him LOL

The prevalence of softer ground doesn't suit sprinters - it suits horses bred for stamina. I can't think of any other reason, other than breeder/owner/trainer preferences
