    Novice Hurdlers 21/22

What date does a horse have to have had it's third run to qualify for a rating in the Cheltenham handicap hurdles?

    Novice Hurdlers 21/22

I think that he'll go to the Ballymore. Dysart Dynamo and Kilcruit to the Supreme and Minella Cocooner, The Nice Guy and maybe Classic Getawayto the Albert Bartlett.

    2 Mile Chasers 21/22

Greaneteen was very disappointing but Captain Guinness is a fair yardstick and he was well beaten while Dunvegan won a very competitive handicap last time out and promised to be a very good horse when he was younger. Chacun Pour Soi dismissed them easily and while he mightn't trouble Shisken...

    Novice Chases 2021-22

I would say that he is much better than average. Master McShee won the Grade 1 at Limerick and was dismissed easily. Gailliard du Mesnil is better than his first two runs.

    Congratulations GG. Well done.

    Tim Vaughan

Delighted to see Tim Vaughan get a decent win in a Saturday race. That's just his eighth winner of the season. Ten years ago he trained 102 winners in a season.

That was tasty from Facile Vega.

    Juvenile Hurdlers 2021/22

I think it will take a very good one to beat Pied Piper and Vauban.

    Novice Chases 2021-22

Blue Lord will be 2lb better off against Riviere d'Etal at Cheltenham.

    The 2022 Dublin Racng Festival

That was a super ride from Danny Mullins.

    The 2022 Dublin Racng Festival

There was talk last week that they preferred going to Gowran in two weeks time as an easier option for Appreciate It first time out.

    Banned substances

I was reading some of that last night. Even before 2013 I was convinced that that operation wasn't clean. I wouldn't imagine that Jim was pointing his finger in that direction though given his past links with them although I notice he didn't train any for them last season. Two certainties, the...

    The 2022 Dublin Racng Festival

That one isn't going to work, the seven year old is more tech savvy than me. She might agree to watching it though, if she thinks that Gigginstown are going to be among the winners.

    The 2022 Dublin Racng Festival

Unfortunately, I can't make it this year. I will be spending two afternoons fighting with a three year old and a seven year old for possession of the remote control.

    The 2022 Grand National

I see a few of those below the 145 mark holding entries at either Sandown or Musselburgh on Saturday. Most of the Irish horses close to that mark are entered at Punchestown the following weekend.

    Novice Hurdlers 21/22

I had thought that too, but he ran once and placed as a juvenile in France, so a run at the weekend would qualify him. Though if he runs well, I can't see him getting off lightly.

    Novice Hurdlers 21/22

Willie Mullins regarding Kilcruit " I imagine he will go to the Supreme now".

    Juvenile Hurdlers 2021/22

Pied Piper beat Forever William by much the same as Porticello did in the Finale but he did it effortlessly. Neither of the pre-Christmas Cheltenham juvenile races looked special nor did the one at Doncaster so I'll stick with the view that the three Irish trained horses are well ahead at the...
