Freedom to Dream runs tomorrow. Peter (Fahey) has had 6 four-year old Bumper winners this season and he is,according to Peter , by no means the worst of his 4-year olds .We are hopeful but just want him to enjoy himself...

Bay of Freedom has been retired and I now have another horse to bore you all with. Please let me take this opportunity to thank so many people for your incredible support over the last few years; I cannot tell you how much I have appreciated it and will always remember it. Thank you all...

    BHA New Chairman

I couldn't agree more. The press release doesn't even try to pretend she knows anything about horse racing and leaves it open to question if she's ever even been to a racecourse. She says "I relish the opportunity to work in British racing. Everything I’ve seen and heard tells me that racing...

Thanks Swedish Chief. We may need the luck - at least it's soft ground for him this time. We've done everything we can physically; now we need to see if it's just a mental thing. If it is, this may be his last race...

A quick blog in advance of Ballycasey's win tomorrow (which doesn't even mention Ballycasey) http://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-diary/2019/2/9/7ypsj8fyov7558adshwlvjislvle5b

Good luck with that bet Eddie! make sure to take 33/1 with Bet365 (14/1 with PP). Given the shorter distance, softer ground and at the weights, he would every chance on his best form. That seems a longtime ago but he continues to work well so we will see.

Yes - the things people do to avoid riding Bay Of Freedom on Sunday. He'll be doing some pre-training - wish him the best of luck. Good guy!

    TV coverage

Living in the US I am subscribing to the Racing UK International Anywhere site as I am not 'allowed' to access the Racing UK/Racing TV site. This site isn't cheap at 29.95 pounds a month and I was thinking of cancelling as I can get race replays on other sites and also live races albeit with the...

Bay of Freedom travelled over for the X-Country with the Elliott horses on Tuesday (sans Tiger Roll, of course). This is how the equine conversation went: http://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-diary/2018/12/13/its-just-horse-talk

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. It's almost embarrassing to be posting after his last four runs but this time last year he had just been beaten 1 1/2 lengths by Tiger Roll and now meets him on 18lbs better terms; the difference a year makes for both horses! He seems to love the fences so...

Thanks Eddie - look forward to seeing you. My in-laws are interrupting their Ireland tour to watch him for the first time; Bay of Freedom has coincidentally decided to wear blinkers. Ear plugs might have been a better option! He looks a million dollars but it's what's going on inside his head...

I'm sure they don't. I understand that Ruby will not be riding at Listowel - is that what you have heard?

That is incredible - never seen anything like that. And just handed the title to Elliott in the process!

    Cheltenham 2017/18

I think this has to be the reason. Typically horses can acclimatise to high temperatures pretty well; it is only when there is a combination of high temperatures and high humidity that they have issues. The humidity today was 'only' 51% so that should not have been an issue; the quick change in...

A little different but thought a few of you might find this interesting: As many of you know, Bay of Freedom was found to have a recurrence of his ulcer issues when he ran at Fairyhouse. This is a video of the Gastroscope two days after the race. It is over five minutes long but you only need...

    Racing Post website and newspaper

Truly unbelievable. Just called Customer Services: they are 'not available' However, should you be one of the .0001% interested in Huntingdon and Southwell on Wednesday, those links are working. Rank incompetence.
