Sorry to have missed entering the comps this year. It`s because of a combination of computer and health problems. I`m having an operation on Monday, not too worried about it, but it does distract you from life`s great irrevelances!

Not often I put one up but I do like Scot`s Grace @6/1 in Ayr`s 3-05. Comes from an up and coming stable and was well fancied last time out in a Gp3 @ Kempton but got no sort of run. Fill yer boots:cool:.

If only a fraction of it is true it should be the end of one or two....at least! I suspect most of it is accurate but, if I were a betting man, I would bet the consequences will be negligible.

I think it`s beyond doubt that the Derby has lost much of it`s attraction. Moving it from Wednesday to Saturday may have made financial sense but it meant instead of having the day to itself it became just another Saturday sporting event.
