Whether they handle it or not, they still don't go 5f in 60 seconds on soft ground.

    1000/2000 Guineas

How do you explain 60 seconds for 5 furlongs on soft ground though for the 5th race? Must be the sprinting champion of the world? As must the next four home behind. I'm wasting my time clearly;), if you think that was soft ground then wait until they water at such as Windsor next time and...

    1000/2000 Guineas

How soft was it then though? Bear in mind, if you can find a 5f sprinter that can do 60 seconds on very slow ground, you would be looking at Dayjur. You are talking about races that had more rain than the guineas in the last two. Do you know what the pace was in the guineas? Yes it was slower...

    1000/2000 Guineas

How slow do you think the ground was? Palace House stakes run in 60 seconds. The average time over some years is 58.50 seconds. Hardly bottomless ground imo. Sole Power won Palace House on official good to firm going in 58.74 in 2014 for instance, todays winner just 1.3 seconds slower.

    1000/2000 Guineas

I bet if you looked at some of the great Guineas and Derby's there are always big priced horses in there, that is just racing. The ground always plays a big part in any race. Will be interesting to see how these 3yo's in this progress.

    1000/2000 Guineas

You know full well those rags are not 91 and 97 horses DO. They are not fully rated yet. Frankel beat Excelebration fto as a 3 year old I seem to remember, Excelebration was rated in the 80s on his 2yo form. Will stand corrected on that, memory is sh*t these days. Just checked, Excelebration...
