I saw Moore close up at chester and just seems totally focused and in the right place in all the top races.Executes the plan perfectly and other jocks seem to just react rather than being ready to deliver. Moore by some way the top dog. Soumillon next best imho.

In fairness to calandagan he has been beaten by some pretty good horses and jan brugheul could turn out to be a proper 12f group one horse as he showed he wasn't short of toe in the last two furlongs. Dont think you can blame the rider. Just wasn't either good or brave enough. Maybe ride him...

Thought lordon would be on whirl. Both races so tricky to work out. If desert flower stays then she will probably win but depends who comes forward from first run. A few suspect temperant wise. Id be delighted if one of the lesser lights won. Can see an upset happening in one or both the derby...

Whirl seems the obvious one to me. Gradually improving and won the musidora with ease. Very similar to snowfalls win but being ignored. Strange how we all see it differently.

BTW noticed the winners prize was 857,000 euros. Surprised a few more British trained horses didn't go for it.
