Apparently the Mildmay course is already Good - Good to Soft in Places.

I stick by what I said the other day, Thursday is likely to be Good to Soft and by Saturday it will be riding very close to Good. All depends how much they put on, but they surely can't over water. The course is looking great at the moment.

Justice Twice interests me a little 28's yesterday and 25/1 generally today, trainer has had two winners recently from as many runners ......... I would sooner chance two or three at big prices than go for a fav in a race full of debutants

I think one thing that is overlooked by some, is the fact that since the race distance has been shortened along with the modification of the fences is that the race is generally run at a quicker tempo. I don't know the stats ( maybe someone has the figures ) but how do the injury & death rates...

I'm not that far myself - just over the other side of the Mersey. Not long back home from there ........ the Going is currently '' Good to Soft '' ( soft in places ) ...... I'll be amazed if it doesn't dry up a little at least.
