The 2025 Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe Weekend Meeting Thread

Interesting. I'm against her because of AOB's record in the race with 3yos but she's had almost exactly the same campaign at that age as Enable and just in case she is an all-timer if she does win this she's just as likely to piss in as win narrowly. I think Kalpana is the only other contender...

What are you backing Today? Part 2

Had a go on that last minute as well when he was pushing 5 on the machine but Haggas has been bad this year relatively esp on drifters and I want to get Hamish beat today. Took a nice price for a small stake as he didn't have a jockey booked when entries came out about Military Academy in the...

As a 10/1 ticket holder for the fillies race at Ascot I find this news very pleasing.

The 2025 Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe Weekend Meeting Thread

Prices up for Saturday's shoulder races. Absolutely rancid three runners for the Cadran - how tf does that retain Group 1 status after this year? Dreamliner would tempt me in the Wildenstein at around 7s, Dollar looks very competitive.

    Cambridgeshire day

This race only came to my attention because of a tracker alert on Strong Warrior and it's so juicy because surely the fav can't win? Another Baar is 11lbs higher for his heavy ground win at Goodwood and will surely be outstayed in this. I'm gonna dutch SW and Korker who might take to this track.

Dance in the Storm in that. Still butt hurt about the ride Oisin gave her at York but the underpriced Godolphin fav (theme of the weekend) means she's reasonably priced. Also keen on Fondo Blanco at Haydock whom I've been punting all year and who finally steps up in trip. Got 6s ap still a...

    Appalling tactics.

What are you backing Today? Part 2

Ran well, and it was a good ew race, the fav wasn't given the best of rides and was too short anyway.

What are you backing Today? Part 2

Good luck Reet. I'm with Barj on this one, backed Revoir who has looked paceless over 10f, this will suit. The theme of the next couple of days at headquarters is how short a lot of the blue brigade are. I'll be taking a few of them on starting with the fav in this who is silly short.

    What are you watching

I've just started 1883, have never watched the Costner main series or 1923. Stoked, it's very good so far. Sam Elliot is fantastic.

What are you backing Today? Part 2

I think Ancient Wisdom is worth a little interest in the 3.35. He's no longer favourite and I can't really have that given the opposition. He ran well in the Gordon Richards earlier in the season before a poor run in the Coronation Cup where it amazed me that he even ran given that he hated the...

The 2025 St Leger, Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and Champion Stakes

Montassib was similarly eye catching on Saturday and is worth a bet in the Sprint.

    The 2025 Cambridgeshire (Handicap)

I'd look again Danny, Cash would have been much closer if that fanny hadn't been riding him. He's much too short for this race and not only has Tribal Chief got the beating of him he also has very solid Rowley Mile form. His run behind Bullet Point at the Craven meeting was ultra eye-catching.

    The 2025 Cambridgeshire (Handicap)

Towards the top of the market the price differential between Treble Tee and Tribal Chief is ridiculous based on their running at Goodwood in August and I quite fancy the latter at around 16s. A lot of the others at shorter prices (Fifth Column) excepted look badly handicapped.

    Ante-Post Props 2025 Flat

On the Newbury card at the weekend Hills have priced up the World Trophy sprint that Tis Marvellous always used to win and they've got Montassib at the head of the market at 4s. This will be a prep run for Ascot and he normally finishes fast and late over 6 so for me he's got no chance in this...

    Ante-Post Props 2025 Flat

I thought I did well resisting AT today but he ran really well and just loves cutting his way through a crowd. Hoping for a middle draw at Ascot.

Hoping for a drift on Amiloc. Not proven on the ground as such but his dam and a half sister went on it.
